I received some feedback from a reader who commented on Swisher Sweets. That got me to thinking about the role of the Swisher Sweet in the lives of casual smokers. So… a brief poll. Just leave a comment at the bottom of this post. The question is this:
Was the Swisher Sweet your first cigar?
If you’d like to expound and tell the story that would be great. But a simple “yes or no” would suffice. It was my first cigar experience. Bachelor party, 1993, smoked about 8-10. Didn’t get sick, but my mouth was not the same for a week.

I don’t actually remember what my first was, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a Swisher Sweet. It was at a bachelor party and the guy who bought the cigars has some taste (although they probably weren’t too expensive).
You know Rob, I know there are varying degrees of quality cigars, but it’s hard to go wrong with a free one. A buddy of mine always says his favorite cigar is one that someone else paid for. 🙂
Swisher Sweet was my first, years ago. It was also my only, until last week.
For.. some reason… I’ve been having a taste for a cigar of late. I don’t smoke. Wierd! I’m now trying a few different cigars and am open for suggestions. Times being what they are, money is an issue
